About Me

When I began my undergraduate studies in 2014, I fully intended to become a professional editor and creative writer. I had been practicing creative writing since elementary school and had started editing my peers' manuscripts in high school. Then, in the summer of 2015, I stumbled upon the profession of librarianship and have been dedicated to it ever since.

Throughout the years, I have become committed to encouraging lifelong learning and creating welcoming environments for all ages, with a focus on underserved teen and adult populations. My background in English writing makes me an effective communicator, and I have continued to grow my creative skills by exploring graphic design, event coordination, and program development. I am also dedicated to fostering an environment of teamwork and innovation among staff using open lines of communication, adaptive workflow strategies, and clear guidelines for behavior.
